iPhone 13 Pro Max is a beautiful looking phone with a glass back. The purpose of the glass back, to take advantage of inductive charging. The camera is much better compared to earlier models as well as the processor seems much faster. Its up for debate as to how much of an improvement this is year over year. The 13 Pro Max is definitely a bigger phone and battery life has been improved dramatically compared with X series and older.
The back glass is actually more expensive to repair than on previous models. If you break that back glass you are paying a lot to have it replaced or are getting a whole new frame. The camera on the iPhone 13 Pro Max has been updated as well and sports a much better zoom. Cost to repair the camera is similiar to other models which is a bit surprising given the sheer size of the camera module. The replacement time is fairly short, roughly 15 minutes to do this job. The cameras on the newer phones are far more sensitive so if you drop the phone in just the right way you can expect to have to replace it. Usually this is a focus issue and you will see it jitter but never quite focus correctly.
